Newfoundland and Labrador Issues 330 Invitations Across NLPNP and AIP

Newfoundland and Labrador has issued 330 immigration invitations in its latest draw on November 12, 2025. The province continues to use both the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) to attract skilled workers and support long-term population growth.

A total of 220 invitations were issued under the NLPNP. These invitations targeted candidates with skills needed in key sectors of the province’s economy, including health care, technology, early childhood education, hospitality and skilled trades. The NLPNP remains Newfoundland and Labrador’s main pathway for selecting newcomers who can settle permanently and contribute to regional development.

Another 110 invitations were issued through the Atlantic Immigration Program. The AIP allows designated employers to hire foreign workers for full-time roles when local labour shortages persist. Candidates invited under the AIP typically have a job offer, language results and settlement funds in place, enabling faster integration into the province’s communities.

Together, the NLPNP and AIP draws show Newfoundland and Labrador’s continued commitment to attracting newcomers who can support labour needs and help reverse long-term demographic decline. These latest invitations offer a clear signal that the province remains focused on steady, targeted immigration to strengthen its workforce and sustain economic growth.
