Manitoba has issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under an new Expression of Interest draw held on December 18, 2025. The invitations were issued through the Skilled Worker stream, covering both the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways.

All invited candidates had previously declared direct invitations through Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) strategic recruitment initiatives.

The draw reflects Manitoba’s continued focus on attracting workers with provincial ties, French-language skills, and employer-backed opportunities.

The distribution of invitations included:

  • Employer Services – 10
  • Francophone Community – 27
  • Regional Communities – 5
  • Temporary Public Policy for Prospective Work Permit Candidates – 21

The emphasis on Francophone immigration remains strong, with over 40 per cent of invitations going to French-speaking applicants.

Eight candidates in this draw declared a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code, making them eligible to receive faster federal processing if nominated.

This draw continues Manitoba’s strategy of selecting applicants who are most likely to settle successfully and contribute to local labour needs across the province.
