British Columbia Issues 410 High Economic Impact Invitations Under BC PNP

British Columbia has issued a new round of invitations under the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), targeting candidates expected to deliver strong economic benefits to the province.
On December 10, 2025, the BC PNP invited 410 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through its Skills Immigration streams.
Of these invitations, 96 went to candidates with a job offer in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupations who meet a high compensation threshold. These candidates required a minimum wage of $87 per hour and an annual salary of at least $170,000.
The remaining 314 invitations were issued to candidates with a minimum registration score of 138 points.
British Columbia confirmed that future high economic impact draws may rely on different selection criteria. The province advises applicants to review section 7.3(a) of the Skills Immigration Program Guide for further details on how these invitations are assessed.
The BC PNP also noted that invitations to apply are issued only to qualified registrations submitted before the date of the draw. Candidates can review earlier invitation rounds through the program’s official archives.
This draw reflects British Columbia’s continued focus on attracting highly skilled workers who can support priority sectors and long-term economic growth.
