British Columbia issued 60 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence in a new BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draw held on July 23, 2026.
The draw was conducted through the Skills Immigration stream under a Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative, with candidates selected on a points basis and a minimum score of 50.
BC PNP Draw: July 23, 2026
| Date | ITA type / selection | Minimum score | Invitations |
|---|---|---|---|
| July 23, 2026 | Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support Initiative (Points) | 50 | 60 |
This targeted draw continues British Columbia’s focus on addressing health workforce needs in rural and remote communities across the province. Invitations to apply are issued to registrants in the BC PNP Skills Immigration pool who are most likely to meet the province’s economic and labour market needs.
Candidates who receive an ITA through the BC PNP may then submit a complete application for a provincial nomination. A provincial nomination adds substantial weight to a candidate’s federal Express Entry profile.
